What should I do in the event of an acute security incident?

Alternatively, report the incident using the Report an Emergency form or by email to incident@rootsektor.de – but the phone remains the fastest way. How quickly will I receive a quote for a penetration test?
For a fixed-price quote, we first clarify the scope – fastest via the scoping wizard on our Pentest Quote page. You receive your quote within 24 hours of scoping (on business days). It is non-binding and already includes the free retest of remediated vulnerabilities.
Can we sign a non-disclosure agreement before the first conversation?
Yes. Simply check “I would like to sign an NDA first” in the form – we will then get in touch and, if you wish, sign the non-disclosure agreement before the first conversation. We are also happy to work with your own template.
Do you also come to our premises for tests?
Yes, if the test requires it – in Germany and internationally. We usually test web applications, APIs, cloud environments, and external systems remotely. For wireless tests, OT facilities, and physical access tests, we come to you. We perform internal network and Active Directory tests either on-site or remotely – via VPN or a provided test system in your network.
What should my first message include?
A few sentences are enough: What should be tested – an online shop, the network, or the cloud, for example? Is there a trigger such as an audit or a customer requirement, and by when do you need results? Please do not send passwords, credentials, or confidential documents through the form – we will agree on a secure way to exchange them with you once you have placed the order.
